RESCUING WENDY by Susan Stoker. Wendy and Blade - oh how I adore these two! Wendy is such a strong woman, even if she feels like the world is on her shoulders. She is so loving and protective, I admired her from the start. Blade is yummy! :) He sees Wendy for the beautiful and wonderful person she is right from the start. The interactions between Wendy, Blade and Jackson were heartwarming and heartfelt, too. Ms. Stoker has written an endearing tale that has love and romance, yet suspense and danger too. Her characters are true, the plot is intriguing and a bit of a nail biter at times, and the writing style flows effortlessly. I couldn't put it down until I was done. It was enjoyable to visit with some characters from previous books too. Being a big fan, I've read all of the earlier books but it truly isn't necessary. Although I do highly recommend them as well. (received ARC for honest review)
