Lauren Layne has done it again! "Crushed" is amazing! Chloe and Michael sizzle throughout! It's so much fun to watch Mr. Playboy fall for the other sister - the one society deems not "perfect". There is laughter and humor throughout and I was smiling and chuckling and didn't want to put it down. I was sad when I turned the last page. Chloe is perfect - she's funny and full of life, yet really just wants to be loved. Michael is a typical good looking playboy, yet he has such a vulnerability about him that I couldn't help but fall in love with him too! If you're looking for a fun, light read that will make you feel good, pick this one up. Ms. Layne has rapidly moved up on my favorite authors list and "Crushed" has secured her spot. Her writing style flows and is clear and precise. I look forward to reading this one again and enjoying future works by Ms. Layne. (received copy for honest review)

Lauren Layne is the
USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary romance.
Prior to becoming
an author, Lauren worked in e-commerce and web-marketing. In 2011, she and her
husband moved from Seattle to New York City, where Lauren decided to
pursue a full-time writing career. It took six months to get her first
book deal (despite ardent assurances to her husband that it would only take
three). Since then, Lauren's gone on to publish ten books, including the
bestselling Stiletto series, with several more on the way in
2015.
Lauren currently
lives in Chicago with her husband and spoiled Pomeranian. When not writing,
you'll find her at happy hour, running at a doggedly slow pace, or trying to
