Ms. Duvall has done it again! "Night Unbound" is steamy, mysterious, full of intrigue and, of course, deadly vampires and mighty Immortal Guardians. Lisette, an Immortal Guardian, falls for Zach - believed to be a traitor by Lisette's leader, Seth. Zach, a sexy Immortal, falls hard for Lisette. Who doesn't love a hero that will give his all to protect the love of his life? I really liked Lisette - she's a strong warrior that can defeat any vampire, but she's very vulnerable when it comes to matters of the heart. She's kind, caring and made me chuckle many times throughout. In addition to the romance and blossoming love of Zach and Lisette, there is the bigger question of "Who Done It?" I felt the characters' frustrations as they searched and tried to figure the mystery out. Ms. Duvall has done a great job of relaying the feelings and thoughts of the characters (I love the mind messages) as well as creating descriptive scenes that made me feel like I was there.
This story is a continuation from the earlier books. I would recommend reading the rest of the series prior - I had only read two other books so once in a while, I didn't understand a reference. However, I was still able to read through it without any major issues and follow along and thoroughly enjoyed it. (Received copy for honest review)

Duvall earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of St. Thomas,
where she studied fiction writing, playwriting, and poetry writing. Darkness
Dawns, the first book in her Immortal Guardians paranormal romance series, was

Suzannah national writing competitions. Rendezvous With Yesterday is a time
travel romance and won second place in the Picture This writing contest.
In addition to writing romance, Dianne has completed a
one-act play (comedy) and teamed up with an award-wining screenwriter to write
a spec script for a new situation comedy. Several of her poems have also been
published in anthologies.
When she isn’t writing, Dianne is very active in the
independent film industry and once even appeared on screen as a
machete-weilding maniac not unlike the vampires she so loves to create in her
