A strong connection burned fiercely between them, one Kyler wouldn’t
dare refuse. He wasn’t a fool when it came to passion. Since his last steady
relationship had ended four years ago, no woman had heated so impressively
under his touch. He’d had women, but none like Ella. He wanted to explore why
she roused things in him he’d never felt before.
Sliding his finger down the
front of her neck, he stopped at the top of her sweetheart neckline. “If I
touched you here, would you stop me?”
Her breath, scented of
wine, rushed from her lungs, brushing across his face. “No.”
“What if I touched here?”
He dragged his fingers up her thigh. “Would I find that you’re ready for me?”
“Yes.” She shivered.
Erasing the distance
between them, he dragged his nose down her neck, inhaling the sweet scent of
lilacs. “I want you, Ella. I want to touch you right here, right now.” Boldly,
he reached for her hand and placed it on his engorged cock. “Do you feel how
much I want you?”
Her eyes became hooded, and
she whispered, “Yes.”
He tangled his fingers into
her hair and groaned when she rubbed her hand across his erection. He kissed
her neck, licking over her hammering pulse. “Tell me to stop and I will.” At
her silence, he closed his fist in her hair, tugging gently. She gasped, and
that feminine noise shot straight to his groin. “Tell me.”
Her cheeks flushed and lips
parted, all but begging for his mouth. “Don’t stop.”
Of course he had suspected
she’d say yes, but how compatible were they? He didn’t mind vanilla sex, but he
loved kink. Unless she did, too, and out of respect for Aidan, he wouldn’t

boat dock?”
She tensed. “What if
someone sees us?”
“What if they do? Would
that bother you?” He tugged on the strands of her hair, keeping her under his

others close by and they might see us?”
Her face flushed deep in
color, but her gaze screamed yes at him. “Possibly.”
“Ah, I like that answer.”
He yanked his feet out of the water and shifted backward to rest his legs on
the dock, and then he pulled her onto his lap.
