BOOK SUMMARY
Delve into an exciting new stand-alone novel in New York Times bestselling author Dianne Duvall's "fast-paced and humorous" (Publishers Weekly), "utterly addictive" (RT Book Reviews) Immortal Guardians series.
Nick Belanger can't stop thinking about the single mother who lives next door. She's smart. She's funny. She's so beautiful he can't stare at her too long for fear his eyes will start to glow. But Kayla thinks he's just an ordinary guy who works in security. Finding out he instead is a powerful immortal warrior who hunts and slays psychotic vampires for a living may not go over well, particularly since she has a daughter she doesn't want to endanger.
Kayla Dorman can keep neither her gaze nor her thoughts from straying to the man next door. Who can blame her really? He is the epitome of tall, dark, and handsome with smart, charming, and honorable thrown in. He's also a few years younger than her and surely would not be interested in a single mom who hasn't dated since her divorce. At least that's what she thinks until an accident nearly takes her life and Nick risks all to save her.
The dynamics of their relationship swiftly change. The friendship they've developed over the years deepens into love as the two spend every minute they can together, laughing and teasing, never suspecting a threat may lurk in the shadows. But that threat soon strikes, making it clear that Nick is the target and his enemy doesn't care if Kayla gets caught in the cross fire. Though Kayla bravely rises to the occasion and is determined to do whatever it takes to help Nick defeat his enemy, Nick is terrified of losing her. Can he identify and eliminate his new nemesis before the man takes everything from him?

Top 5 Favorite Vampire Movies
Hello! Thank you for joining us. I’ve very excited to be here today, celebrating the release of BROKEN DAWN. If this is your first time encountering my Immortal Guardians series, don’t worry. You won’t be lost at all if you pick up this book or audiobook. So if you enjoy paranormal romance that features powerful immortal males who love strong women, feisty heroines, and lots of action, passion, humor, and romance, then I think you’ll enjoy this story.
Since my Immortal Guardians spend their nights hunting and slaying psychotic vampires, I thought I would share some of my all-time favorite vampires movies with you:
 1.     Blade, starring Wesley Snipes. Though I enjoyed all three of the Blade movies, the first will always be my favorite, so much so that I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve watched it over the years.
2.     30 Days of Night, starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa George, and Danny Huston. I love this movie, from beginning to end. The writer did a fantastic job of painting the characters—the whole town really—into a corner, cutting them off from aid and giving the vampires days, rather than hours, to hunt and torment their victims.
3.     From Dusk Till Dawn, starring George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Juliette Lewis, and Salma Hayek. I’m a sucker for reluctant heroes, so I’ve watched this one many times.
4.     Fright Night (the original), starring Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, and Amanda Bearse. This was one of the first vampire movies I ever watched, and it’s one I always end up watching again whenever I happen upon it.
5.     Interview with a Vampire, starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Kirsten Dunst. I actually hadn’t heard of the book when I saw this one and ended up enjoying the movie so much that I bought the book and eagerly dove into the series. I’ve watched it many times since.
What about you? What are some of your favorite vampire movies?

  11. I've seen bits of Interview, but otherwise only the first two. How is that possible? Lol. I like Blade, but I don't know that I have a "favorite" vampire movie. Twilight maybe? *shrug*

  12. I've seen all of those! My son is a huge horror movie fan and he makes sure I'm well-versed... LOL I can normally strip at least 2 dogs watching 1 horror movie. I love Fright Night too - but my fav is the 2011 version with David Tennant. I've loved David ever since he was Dr. Who...
