CAT'S REVIEW

"Morgan's Hunter" by Cate Beauman.  This is a story that is filled with intrigue, suspense and action.  Oh, and yes there it romance too.  Hunter is assigned to protect Morgan.  I enjoyed Hunter's character - he's tough and sexy and so strong.  What girl wouldn't want him to keep her safe?  Morgan, while I liked many things about her, but at times she really drove me nuts.  I find it annoying when a character continuously makes their own judgments and calls about situations they really don't know anything about.  Despite that, together, I thought they fit perfectly.  The story itself is compelling and intriguing.  The romance developed at a good pace, the action kept me turning the pages and Ms. Beauman's writing style flows and is easy to follow.  At times, it's a bit of a nail biter and had me on the edge of my seat.  This is a great start to the series and I am looking forward to following up with the rest.  (received copy for honest review)

"Falling for Sarah" by Cate Beauman.  Ms. Beauman has once again proven that she is a gifted writer that keeps her reader involved and intrigued throughout the story.  I really, really liked Sarah - a widow that struggles with her emotions when attracted to another.  Ethan - sexy as heck, struggles as well since he knew her husband.  Together, it was quite enjoyable to see their relationship grow and develop.  There's a lot more to this story than the romance though - there's action and grip the edge of your seat suspense. I found I couldn't wait to turn each page to see what and where we would go.  Ms. Beauman keeps her readers engaged throughout and her writing flows effortlessly.  I am hooked on this series and look forward to reading the rest.  (received copy for honest review)
