Cat's Review
"Fast Track" by Julie Garwood. Ms. Garwood's "Buchanon" series is one of my all time favorite series. I have read several of the books more than once and was so excited to read Cordie and Aiden's story. From the first time we met them in "Murder List', we knew it was coming. And what a ride for them! There is suspense and danger, love and heartbreak. Cordie has been my favorite of the three bff's from the beginning. She's sweet but a tough one - able to fix cars and handle rough teenage boys as a teacher and is also a caring and giving person. When it comes to her heart, she has given it away to the one that considers her like a little sister and finally decides enough is enough and it's time to move on. Aiden is a career driven man that never gave much thought to Cordie besides being on of his sister's best friends. Once they connect, though, he can't get her off his mind or out of his heart and knows he has to keep her safe and make her stay. I loved Alec in this book - how he knew that they were destined for each other and kept making comments to Aiden about it.
It's fun to read about other characters from the other books and hear about updates in their lives. However, this, and the other books in the series, can be read as a standalone with no fear of not understanding what is happening. Thank you, Ms. Garwood, for another enjoyable and fun read. ✔✔✔✔
