Praise for Susan Stoker’s Ace Security Series

“Readers will root for Grace and Logan from the first." —Publishers Weekly on Claiming Grace "Stoker’s second Ace Security tale stars an imposing alpha protector hero and a spunky, courageous heroine who rule every page with their super-sexy banter and smoking-hot love story.” —RT Book Reviews on Claiming Alexis

BOOK SUMMARY

When their parents’ turbulent marriage ends in tragedy and violence, the Anderson brothers return to Castle Rock, Colorado. They’re determined to protect the people who need it most—victims of abuse. Yet even as Ace Security helps victims, each one of these strong, fierce brothers still carries the scars of the past. In this sexy and suspenseful series, author Susan Stoker proves that sometimes even the toughest heroes need salvation—through a love that doesn’t just touch their hearts…it claims them.

Bailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang. Hiding out in Castle Rock, Colorado, is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogether. But when she meets handsome security nerd Nathan Anderson, she discovers a reason to stay and fight for what she wants. Ace Security’s Nathan Anderson has always been the “numbers guy,” not the man any of the firm’s clients look to when their safety is threatened. But from the first time he ran into Bailey, she never made him feel like less of a protector than his brothers. Nathan was attracted to the petite, black-haired pixie with wild tattoos from the start, and by some miracle, she seems to return his interest. But danger stalks Bailey and her brother, so it’s up to Nathan to channel his inner alpha and find a way to end the threat to their lives once and for all—and he’s not giving up Bailey without a fight.

CAT'S REVIEW

"Claiming Bailey" by Susan Stoker. This is book three of the Ace Security Series. Finally, we get Nathan's story. I love Nathan - he's such a nerd but he's oh so sexy too. I liked Bailey too. Despite her past, she is a good person and her and Nathan are so sweet together. Ms. Stoker brings the story to life and creates such emotions and drama that keeps the reader turning each page eagerly. Having read the first two books of the series and truly enjoying them, I waited with baited breath for this one. Ms. Stoker did not disappoint. While I felt the previous books had a bit more action and suspense,"Claiming Bailey" was filled with so many touching moments. Honestly, this author brought tears to my eyes and it was a scene with the Hero baring his soul. If you haven't been lucky enough to read this amazing author, don't wait. She is one of my go-to and must-have authors.  (received ARC from NetGalley for honest review)

BOOK SUMMARY

For Logan Anderson, moving on from a traumatic past means moving back to his hometown of Castle Rock, Colorado, to start a personal-security business with his brothers. But it’s not long before Logan runs into Grace Mason, his best friend from high school…and the woman who never answered his letters during his Army years.

Grace was pleasantly surprised to see Logan return to Castle Rock, despite their falling-out ten years ago. Everyone always assumed they would end up together, including Grace, who had eyes only for him. But as Logan eventually escaped their town, Grace got pulled further into her family’s controlling grasp—and farther away from the man she loved.

Now, united by scars both visible and not, the two must fight to free Grace from the suffocating hold of her family. But the Masons won’t let go easily—and they’ll do whatever it takes to keep the couple apart.

CAT'S REVIEW
"Claiming Grace" by Susan Stoker.   I was so excited when I learned that Ms. Stoker was writing a new series.  I have enjoyed all the works I've read by this author (although I still have a few to go) and am happy to report that she did not disappoint with this one.  I love, love, love alpha Heroes.  And, although not everyone likes them, I like when a heroine comes across as a bit on the shy/meek side. Usually their strengths come across in other ways that differ then the rough and tough Hero.  Grace and Logan certainly fit that bill.  Ms. Stoker has given us a story of second chances and renewed life.  It was certainly a bit of a different take on the domestic abuse angle and that made the story even more intriguing.   The story makes the reader think about the hell people are living in, and how it isn't so easy to leave that situation.  "Claiming Grace" takes the reader on a journey that is filled with love, anger, remorse, control, friendship and happiness.  While it sounds like a rollercoaster, Ms. Stoker is able to pull it off and the writing and story progress fluidly.  While I wait for the next story in this series ("Claiming Alexis"), I will happily catch up on the other works by Ms. Stoker that I have yet to read.  (received copy from NetGalley for honest review)
