PRETTY AS A PEACH by Juliette Poe is a delightful tale that warmed my heart. Ms. Poe writes a story that had me cheering and smiling and, that, simply put, made me happy. I adored the main characters - Darby and Colt. It was so wonderful to watch their relationship develop and the beauty of their love grow, even after a bit of a rough start to it. The story, also, was so well written and, not a crazy over the top tale, but one that I could believe in. Of course, there is our lovely couple, as well as Linnie, a seven year old struggling with the changes in her life. Then we have the amazing people of the town that are unbelievably supportive. And what is a story without at least one antagonist and Ms. Poe made him a bad one. Boy, did Mitch drive me nuts. I highly recommend this story, as well as the previous ones in the series (although not necessary to enjoy this one, in my opinion). Ms. Poe continues to blow me away with this sweet series. The storylines, the characters and her amazingly fluid writing style makes reading her stories an easy and joyful thing to do. (received ARC for honest review)
