Cat's Review

"Shadows Strike" does just that  - strikes the reader and grabs on!  This series has been one of my favorites all along and Ms. Duvall did not disappoint with this one.  I was so happy Ethan got his story and I simply adored Heather.  They are absolutely perfect for each other.  I loved Ethan in the previous books and he proved me right in this one.  He's a big, strong tough guy that's really a teddy bear!  Heather is terrific - she's strong but not afraid to admit she's scared. Having faced her own demons throughout her life, she's finally found her home.  Together they had me laughing and smiling.  Of course, this wouldn't be the Immortal Guardians series without danger throughout and Ms. Duvall delivered.   It was fun to reconnect with characters from the previous series as well.   Although I have to be honest, I haven't read the entire series (am itching to catch up), I have read several.  However, Ms. Duvall, I thought, did a good job of catching the reader up on the happenings so that if you didn't get a chance to read the previous works or forgot, you were caught right up.  If you enjoy paranormal romance with some laughs, love and danger, don't miss this!  (received copy from NetGalley for honest review)
